Location:
Align is headquartered in the Orlando, Florida area but serves clients nationwide. Align employs individuals in various states and offers all employees hybrid (primarily remote/virtual) work. We’re currently seeking an Associate, Sales Operations in Central FL for a hybrid role (part remote, part on-site).
All Align employees must have reliable transportation and may be expected to travel as part of their roles, with frequency depending on role-specific requirements.
Position Description:
As a Channels and Alliances Partnership Executive you will spearhead partnerships and drive revenue growth by cultivating strong relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and navigating complex channels to enhance our market presence.
Position Responsibilities:
Sales Enablement & Administration:
· Maintain DealCloud CRM: Ensure all BD activities, contacts, notes, and deal status updates are entered and current.
· Own the accuracy and upkeep of the CRM system – including, on occasion, supporting internal partners in making key updates.
· Assist with outreach prep, including assembling and sending collateral, follow-ups, and close outs.
· Assist with database segmentation and outreach strategy execution as needed.
Lead Qualification & Client Coordination:
· Perform preliminary qualification reviews and inquiries to assess alignment with firm criteria.
· Assist in preparing summary materials for internal reviews.
· Support documentation and information flow between the sales team, prospective clients, and internal stakeholders.
· Help prepare prospects for formal engagement by coordinating intake documents and supporting readiness assessments.
Meeting & Handoff Support:
· Coordinate introductory & pitch meetings, internal preps, and external communications.
· Attend pitches and prospect meetings as needed to support BD efforts.
· Facilitate seamless internal handoffs from BD to origination team once a deal is engaged.
Reporting & Optimization:
· Track the status of all prospects and deals across lifecycle stages.
· Generate and distribute regular reports on sales pipeline, outreach effectiveness, and KPIs.
· Support development and implementation of scalable sales ops processes, tools, and best practices.
Position Requirements
Required:
· 2+ years of relevant experience in M&A, investment banking, private equity, or related financial services.
· Strong interest in business development, marketing, and sales operations.
· Experience with CRM systems (DealCloud preferred).
· Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills; professional and confident in client-facing situations.
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment where initiative and autonomy are valued.
Preferred:
· Experience supporting sales or marketing in a financial or professional services setting.
· Familiarity with lower middle market deal dynamics.
· Previous exposure to pitch prep or early-stage deal qualification.
Compensation and Benefits:
This is a full-time, exempt position. Competitive annual salary based on experience, + bonus based on fixed percentage of total deal success fees.
